Challenger and 9/11

I don't remember a ton about where I was when I heard about the Challenger. I remember watching it on t.v. in school and I remember we talked about it a lot with our teachers. It seemed strange to be in a reverse situation when 9/11 occurred because then I was teacher talking that disaster with the students. I remembering thinking about the similarities on that morning, although I believe the after effects have been very different. We definitely live in a global world. Both the "JFK" and the Challenger where Americans in America. 9/11 was not.
