Day in the Life of Keryn III
9:25 am Realize I haven't fed my son his "real food". Make baby oatmeal with Benefiber and formula. Gideon doesn't care for it. I feed him a little more than half anyway.
9:50 am Unload, load dishwasher. Try to turn it on. Realize that perhaps I've turn off more than just the hot water to the sink. Shrug. Oh well.
10:00 am Slowly admit the fact that after being sick for four days, the whole entire house is a disaster (except for the "new" fridge). Try to convince Ezra to let me listen to some "rockin' music" to get myself into the mood of cleaning. Ezra rejects this as unacceptable and continues to play his computer game.
10:05 am Clean anyway. Compromise with myself--clean for ten minutes, read one of my favorite blogs for five minutes.
10:25 am Cuddle with an increasingly tired and grumpy Gideon. Have to keep him up until at least 10:45, otherwise he'll be too tired for physical therapy this afternoon.
10:40 am Take the now-sound-asleep baby down to his room.
11:00 am Give up on compromise. Clean and clean and clean. Ezra graciously allows me to listen to some ABBA, rockin' music if there ever was (in this house at least).
