President Hinckley

I mostly like to remember the humility of this great man. Shortly after he became prophet, he gave a talk in general conferance (of course). The thing that he said that stayed with me was that he did not feel worthy of the love and admiration of all the members and he realized that what people were really admiring was the position that he was in not neccessarity the man. He just truly did not feel that he was that great a man to be receiving all the attention and admiration that the members were focusing on him.
My second memory was of him waving his cane and caring it NOT using it. He said that his doctor told him to always have his cane with him and he agreed to do what his doctor said.
