Harry Potter

I would like to start out by saying,
Jen, I hope your brownies did not end up burned as a result of all that you posted about.

Now on to the topic that I am curious about your insights. Most of you are probably aware that J.K Rowling has filed a law suit again a publishing company, RDR, for preparing a book put together by a Harry Potter fan who in the creator, or something, of the website The Harry Potter Lexicon. Rowling simply says this is a case of copyright violation and wants the book removed from sale as she intends to make her own Potter Encyclopedia. I bring this all up because today started the trials. You most likely would have heard a few quotes, especially if you visit Mugglenet.com. My curiosity for you is if you agree with Rowling. I personally do agree with her. The author of this book in question seems to only be interested in a quick buck and not caring in the least if he crosses the border in how he gets it. When it comes to an all Potter book, I really have no interest in reading anything written by anybody who is not Rowling. The Potter world is her world and anything else is bogus if not coming from her or approved by her. She is and will always be the Potter authority, no matter what anybody else says.
