Happy Easter Indeed

Today was a lovely and mostly relaxing day for us, too, Jen. Sacrament meeting was somewhat stressful for Bradley, because I was singing in the choir and so he had all four kiddos to deal with. But our ward wasn't about to let one man wrangle three preschoolers and a baby all by himself, so Heber was baby-napped by a Beehive and her mom, crayons and coloring pages were offered, and Daddy actually got to cuddle his Gid-kid and listen to the choir. It was pretty nice. I love my ward family.

It turns out that if you wait until Saturday night to buy Easter candy, there isn't much left. Odd, that. But my children did not complain. After dinner I made them hide in the family room and I hid candy all around the living and dining rooms for them to "find". A very great time was had by all, even if Mercy decided half-way through that she was done and it was time to CONSUME. I swear, the girl went through about twelve Hershey Kisses (actually they were Hugs, now that I think about it) in two minutes.

The weather was beautiful today, sunny and mostly warm--it rained almost all day yesterday, and a slow-moving wet storm is headed our way for tomorrow night and the rest of the week, bringing snow just in time for the Tax Day Tea Party we're planning to attend up in SLC. Of course. Maybe the Mother Nature is a socialist.

I'm sorry I haven't been writing as much as I should...I am aiming to write every day for the next two weeks. We'll see how I do--you all might get really, really bored. I hope not, though! I love you all and hope you had a marvelous Easter Sunday.
