Here I am at home, when I should be at church. My two youngest have slight fevers today. Normally I wouldn't keep them at home at all, but I figure with all the swine flu scares going on, I should be good to all others at church and keep my barely sick babies at home.

Has the hype around the swine flu changed your actions at all? Obviously it has mine, even just a little. And I'm a bit more active in washing hands/getting my kids to wash hands. But other than that...it sort of seems like much ado about nothing. What do you all think?

LaDale, your last post is very cryptic. It's been long enough since I've read Septimus Heap that I have no earthly idea what you are referring to. Unless it is some secret message between you and Samuel concerning national security--in that case, forget I even mentioned it.

I'm going to be making these for dinner tonight. I'll report back tomorrow with the results.

I made baby wraps for my three oldest children yesterday. They were all carrying around dolls just like I carry around Heber. I'll try to get a picture--it's terribly adorable.

Bradley's leaving, on a jet plane, on Monday, but unlike John Denver's song, he does know when he'll be back again--Thursday night late. San Diego is the destination this time, the last of his work trips for the year (hopefully). I find myself quite apprehensive about his absence. Four days, four kids, no breaks...it'll be like a reality TV show, without the edits and the music and the money and the (dubious) fame. I thought about packing up and going to visit Mema, but we have therapy on Monday and Thursday, a surprise party for a friend on Tuesday, meetings on Thursday, and Mandy's wedding on Friday. So, not really a good week to be gone.

Goodness, this is a boring post. I'm practically falling asleep writing it. But I'm lazy, so I'll probably post it away. Hopefully I will have more scintillating posts for the rest of the week.
