question of the week

I had a professor in my community college i went to a few years back say that he full on expected that we would see the end of gasoline in our lifetime, and most likely our parents would see the end of it in their lifetime. This comment had come about from a discussion about gas prices going up and how expensive it is to fill up our cars with gas, etc. {currently speaking in some places it's already over 3 dollars a gallon.}

I think we probably will see the end of gas and probably have to resort to another source besides electric cars.

My question is how long do you think it will take to run out?
i think 5-10 years from now.

if you so desire to answer another question, what are we going to use to fuel our cars or will we all switch to electric?
